The Joint Secretariat Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland is looking for two volunteers!
The Interreg programme Vlaanderen-Nederland focuses on strengthening the five Flemish provinces in Belgium and the three southern provinces of The Netherlands. Four are the main priorities for this border area:

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “CEMTex / Closing the loop on Circular Medical Textiles for the transition to a Circular Economy”, under the Interreg Programme “INTERREG EUROPE“.
The objective of the Interreg project “CEMTex” is to identify the many bottlenecks in both public procurement frameworks on the demand-side as well as the logistical and compliance issues on the supply side and to provide solutions and best practices to help build better policy instruments that can favour both the production use and re-use of circular medical textiles and boost regional value chains and the circular economy in general.

The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “Interreg Spain-France-Andorra / POCTEFA”.
The Interreg Program VI-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA) is a European program for cross-border cooperation in the Spain-France-Andorra border. The program’s aim is to give financial support to European projects thanks to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This support allows to reinforce the economic and social integration of the area and to promote sustainable development.
The program improves the life of the population living in the cross-border area. One of the stakes is to enhance local, regional or interregional strategies to a cross-border scale by fostering exchanges and common knowledge. The financed projects are acting on both sides of the frontier and are preserving the territory resources.

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “LATI”, under the Interreg Greater Region Programme.
The objective of the Interreg project “Laboratory for Territorial Intelligence – LATI” is to enable citie, municipalities and regions in the Greater Region to develop sustainable solutions to common challenges – such as dealing with climate change, achieving the goal of net zero land consumption, or designing transport-oriented living and working environments. Interreg LATI supports spatial planning stakeholders in co-constructively developing and making accessible cross-border knowledge on spatial development.

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “ZDrauA – Next-generation biomonitoring of Drava/Drau for sustainable and healthy regional development”, under the Programme Interreg Slovenia-Austria.
The objective of the Interreg project “ZDrauA” is to improve and harmonize cross-border next-generation biomonitoring (NGB) of biological water quality elements in the Drava/Drau River and its catchment, extending across Austria and Slovenia.
