IVY Reporter for the Interreg Programme Netherlands-Flanders (Vlaaned)

Promote cooperation across the Belgian and Dutch borders!

The Joint Secretariat Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland is looking for two volunteers!

The Interreg programme Vlaanderen-Nederland focuses on strengthening the five Flemish provinces in Belgium and the three southern provinces of The Netherlands. Four are the main priorities for this border area:

• innovation and research infrastructure,
• training and the functioning of the labour market,
• adaptation to climate change, biodiversity and air pollution prevention, sustainable
  leisure activities and tourism,
• solving administrative-legal bottlenecks at the border.

The volunteers will support the programme in reaching these priorities through communication activities, carrying out the following tasks:

• Coming up with ideas and input for the communication plan;
• Contacting, informing and making agreements with involved project partners for conducting interviews, articles, videos/podcast, etc;
• Support the promotion of Interreg projects by going on site and taking interviews and photos;
• Writing and/or editing articles or videos and publish them on the website and social media channels;
• Contribute to the newsletter;
• Participate in the daily operation of the secretariat and attend the weekly meetings.

Financial support of: 37 euros per day

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Start and duration: Start date between March and May 2025, for 2/6 months**

GALICIAN HEALTH KNOWLEDGE AGENCY is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “CEMTex / Closing the loop on Circular Medical Textiles for the transition to a Circular Economy”, under the Interreg Programme “INTERREG EUROPE“.

The objective of the Interreg project “CEMTex” is to identify the many bottlenecks in both public procurement frameworks on the demand-side as well as the logistical and compliance issues on the supply side and to provide solutions and best practices to help build better policy instruments that can favour both the production use and re-use of circular medical textiles and boost regional value chains and the circular economy in general.

The volunteer will be carrying out those types of activities:

• Participation in the organization of workshops and events;
• Collaboration in the desing of promotional posters for the different project events;
• Helping in the designing of posters, publications, posts, notices;
• Assistance in the writing of reports, summaries, briefings, press releases;
• Collaborating in the management of dissemination activities and events, through different means, including social networks;
• Compiling information, preparing and filing documentation, taking notes, helping with the scheduling and logistics;
• Participate in meetings and awareness-raising events on the circular economy and its impact on the planet;
• Support the search for information and promotional materials on the circular economy.

Other information:

Financial support of: 29,00 euros per day (week-end and holidays included).

The Joint Secretariat Spain-France-Andorra is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “Interreg Spain-France-Andorra / POCTEFA”.

The Interreg Program VI-A Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA) is a European program for cross-border cooperation in the Spain-France-Andorra border. The program’s aim is to give financial support to European projects thanks to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This support allows to reinforce the economic and social integration of the area and to promote sustainable development.
The program improves the life of the population living in the cross-border area. One of the stakes is to enhance local, regional or interregional strategies to a cross-border scale by fostering exchanges and common knowledge. The financed projects are acting on both sides of the frontier and are preserving the territory resources.

The volunteer will be carrying out those types of activities:

• Update of the INTERREG POCTEFA Programme website and the capitalisation website;
• Giving fresh ideas for improving our website and social media communication style;
• Update of the social media;
• Preparing applications forms for European awards. The participation of projects in European Awards have an important visibility for the program at european level. The information of the projcets, if selected, is published in european newsletters, european web pages and also in social media accounts of european bodies;
• Writing scripts and editing videos.

IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project “CAP’M”

Support cooperation between Italian-French Marine Protected Areas.

Syndicat Mixte pour les Inondations, l’Aménagement et la Gestion de l’Eau maralpin (SMIAGE) is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “CAP’M – Coopération entre les Aires maritimes Protégées Cap Martin – Capo Mortola”, under the Programme Interreg Italy-France Maritime.

The objective of the Interreg project “CAP’M” is to strengthen the technical and political capacities of competent authorities in managing two neighboring protected areas between Italian and French Maritime Regions.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:

• • Preparation and coordination of the workshops planned for early 2026, including logistical support (venues, invitations, transport, etc.), coordination with French and Italian partners, and support in a bilingual context;
  • Design of facilitation tools and materials, such as agendas, mediation tools, signage, and communication supports to enhance participation and visibility;
  • Communication before, during and after the workshops, including taking photos, writing short articles or social media posts, and sharing highlights via IVY and project channels;
  • Capitalisation of outcomes: note-taking, writing summaries and collecting inspiring quotes or testimonies to highlight the value of citizen engagement and transboundary cooperation.

IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project “LATI”

Support accessibility of cross-border knowldge on spatial development.

University of the Greater Region – UniGR is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “LATI”, under the Interreg Greater Region Programme.

The objective of the Interreg project “Laboratory for Territorial Intelligence – LATI” is to enable citie, municipalities and regions in the Greater Region to develop sustainable solutions to common challenges – such as dealing with climate change, achieving the goal of net zero land consumption, or designing transport-oriented living and working environments. Interreg LATI supports spatial planning stakeholders in co-constructively developing and making accessible cross-border knowledge on spatial development.

The volunteer will be carrying out communication and dissemination activities:

• Writing articles in FR, DE and EN;
• Producing digital communication materials, including taking and editing videos, creating graphics, and assisting in the management of social media channels;
• Event participation and organization;
• Working alongside other IVYs (e.g., from the University of Luxembourg) on joint activities, fostering cross-border teamwork and shared learning.

IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project “ZDrauA”

Support sustainable and healthy regional development across Austria and Slovenia.

Fachhochschule Kärnten gemeinnützige GmbH is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “ZDrauA – Next-generation biomonitoring of Drava/Drau for sustainable and healthy regional development”, under the Programme Interreg Slovenia-Austria.

The objective of the Interreg project “ZDrauA” is to improve and harmonize cross-border next-generation biomonitoring (NGB) of biological water quality elements in the Drava/Drau River and its catchment, extending across Austria and Slovenia.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:

• sampling of water samples and organismal samples (river Drava/Drau and tributaries);
• extraction of organismal DNA from environmental samples;
• extraction of bacterial and/or viral DNA from water samples;
• execution of qPCR and dPCR;
• adjustment of analysis protocols for optimization purposes;
• evaluation of results, visualization, and reporting to project members;
• participation in department and project meetings

Support cooperation between Hungary and Serbia.

The Joint Secretariat of Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary – Serbia Programme is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “IPA Hungary – Serbia”, which aims to foster and encourage the harmonious cross-border development of the region, by co-financing great ideas by organizations from the Programme’s territory.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following activities and tasks:

• promote the projects, summarize and share updates to stakeholders and (potential) project partners;
• draft and send newsletters, organize webinars;
• document project progress, milestones, and outcomes;
• compile success stories, capture photos, or record video testimonials;
• provide new innovative ideas for the programme’s existing communication platforms;
• create draft content with JS’ supervision for the porgamme’s online platforms;
• conduct and process surveys, interviews, or focus group discussions and draw statistical summaries;
• raise awareness about the projects’ goals, impact, and importance;
• create awareness campaigns or events;
• create content plans for programme social media channels;
• assist in designing programme’s promotional materials: booklets, newsletters, templates, etc;
• create tutorial videos for beneficiaries about the phases of project implementation with the useful input of colleagues;
• assist in organising Information days and other promotional events on programme level;
• help project partners during the preparation for various contests initiated by Interact, the EU Commission, or other organizations.

The volunteer will support the Programme “Interreg NEXT MED”, Branch Office for the Western Mediterranean (Valencia, Spain), which aims to contribute to smart, sustainable, fair development for all across the Mediterranean basin by supporting balanced, long-lasting, far-reaching cooperation and multilevel governance. The programme mission is to finance cooperation projects that address joint socio-economic, environmental and governance challenges at Mediterranean level such as the uptake of advanced technologies, competitiveness of SMEs and job creation, energy efficiency, sustainable water management, climate change adaptation, transition to a circular and resource efficient economy, education and training, health care, etc.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:

• support Programme’s communication and information activities, helping to inform potential applicants and partners about our calls for proposals, events, and results;
• support the communication team and project officers in preparing news items, social media posts, newsletters, and other materials showcasing project achievements and Programme activities;
• support in updating the website, creating visual or written content, and contributing to outreach events or online campaigns.

IVY Project Partner for the Interreg project “REGENERA4MED”

Support building climate resilience through sustainable tourism.

B. Link Barcelona Strategic Projects is looking for an IVY volunteer!

The volunteer will support the Interreg project “REGENERA4MED – Towards a Mediterranean model of Regenerative Tourism as Climate Change adaptation and risk prevention”, under the Programme “Interreg Euro-MED”.

The objective of the Interreg project “REGENERA4MED” is to reformulate tourism models in the Mediterranean to become an engine creating positive social and environmental value, thus contributing to climate change adaptation and risk prevention.

The volunteer will be carrying out the following tasks and activities:

• Contributing to the design and implementation of the elicitation programme with local actors, MSMEs and territorial stakeholders;
• Supporting the preparation of participatory sessions, interviews, and workshops, and assisting in collecting and organising stakeholders’ inputs;
• Assisting in the mapping of synergies and opportunities for cross-fertilisation with other European and non-European initiatives and projects;
• Supporting the coordination of the Advisory Board, in particular organisation of AB meetings;
• Supporting replication activities with other regions and territories, particularly in Mediterranean countries, by gathering practices and preparing materials for exchange;
• Contributing to mainstreaming actions by preparing policy briefs, summaries and materials that facilitate dialogue with decision-makers;
• Assisting in the creation of communication materials (articles, social media posts, newsletters) to increase project visibility;
• Supporting the organisation of local communication activities and events to raise awareness about regenerative tourism;
• Helping monitor communication channels and ensuring that the project’s results are presented in an engaging and accessible way.
