Via Pontica is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg project “MoreAdaptBSB”, under the Interreg Programme “INTERREG NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme”.
The objective of the Interreg project “MoreAdaptBSB” is promotes transnational cooperation to enhance climate adaptability through nature-based solutions and remote sensing. It fosters knowledge exchange among stakeholders and supports the restoration of urban and coastal green spaces. Key outputs include a climate vulnerability visualization tool, an adaptation plan, a catalogue of restoration measures, and the revitalization of 60 dka of green spaces in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and Ukraine. The project also facilitates three knowledge exchange groups and a Living Lab.
The volunteer will primarily assist with managing and creating content for the MoreAdapt project’s social media channels, including:
Creating and Scheduling Social Media Posts – Develop engaging content to promote the project’s activities, events, and progress, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals and messaging.Design visually appealing posts (using tools like Canva or similar platforms) to share updates, research findings, and other relevant information.
Engaging with Online Audiences – Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms, fostering community interaction and promoting awareness of the project’s work.Track engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of posts and adjust strategies accordingly.
Promoting Events and Activities – Assist in creating posts for upcoming events such as workshops, conferences, or awareness campaigns, ensuring they reach the appropriate audience.
Content Planning and Strategy – Help plan the content calendar to ensure regular posting and consistency across social media channels. Assist in brainstorming ideas for campaigns and initiatives that raise awareness about the project’s impact on environmental sustainability.
