Starting in 2024, IVY has expanded its scope and introduced new regulations and application forms to support broader participation from newly eligible countries. The updated IVY Policy and the new IVY Programme and Project Notes are now available on the IVY website, streamlining the process for hosting IVY Volunteers across a broader geographic area.
Volunteering with IVY for an Interreg Programme or Project is possible in many countries, including all EU Member States, neighbouring partner countries, those involved in Pre-Accession Assistance Cross-border Co-operation Programmes (IPA-CBC), countries involved in Neighbourhood Cross-border Co-operation Programmes (ENI-CBC) and Interreg NEXT, countries involved in Interreg D (Outermost Regions Programmes). Additionally, all four EU Macro-Regional Strategies are eligible to host IVY Volunteers. Discover more about the geographical scope of IVY here.
The IVY website has been fully updated with essential resources, including the latest additions to our Policies, new project and programme note templates, revised maps, and more! These updates were designed to simplify the application process and make it easier for new countries and organisations to participate.
IVY Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting communication in territorial cooperation, enhancing the resilience of entire regions and supporting cooperation on larger scales.
